ORIGIN
I’m Margery Daniels, a dark fantasy illustrator based in Portland, Oregon. I started out sketching creatures, ruins, and story moments always chasing mood and atmosphere. Over time, that turned into a career built around cinematic fantasy imagery and cover-level impact
NOW
For the past 15 years, I’ve created concept art and comic cover art for professional clients (including major comic publishers). Recently, I’ve expanded into fantasy novel coversheet same dramatic storytelling, just in a new format. I also share process and behind-the-scenes on YouTube.
APPROACH
I’m obsessed with mood, lighting, and storytelling clarity. Images that feel like a scene from something bigger. My goal is always strong silhouette, readable focal point, and an atmosphere that sells the world instantly. I build pieces with print-ready polish, so the final art feels premium and professional.
